1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using RemoveVocals (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. NOTHING SAS ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") operates RemoveVocals as a free service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of these terms and any modifications we may make.

2. Description of Service

RemoveVocals provides a free browser-based audio toolkit that includes vocal removal, mastering, equalization, noise reduction, audio cutting, audio joining, pitch changing, BPM finding, key finding, bass boosting, audio effects, audio format conversion, and voice recording capabilities.

Important: All audio processing happens 100% client-side in your browser. Your audio files are never uploaded to our servers. Audio is processed entirely on your device using your browser's local resources. We do not receive, store, transmit, or have access to any audio files you process.

3. User Obligations

By using RemoveVocals, you agree that:

• You will only process audio files that you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise permitted to process under applicable law.
• You will not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes.
• You will not process audio containing illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or malware.
• You will not attempt to circumvent Digital Rights Management (DRM) protections or other technological protection measures.
• You will not use the Service to create unauthorized commercial products or redistribute copyrighted material without proper authorization.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any audio through this Service.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

RemoveVocals, including its name, logo, design, code, and all underlying technology, is owned by NOTHING SAS and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or perform any content from RemoveVocals without our express written permission, except as necessary to operate the Service on your device.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain all rights to audio files you process through RemoveVocals. You are solely responsible for any content you process and for ensuring you have all necessary rights and permissions to do so. We do not claim ownership of your audio or any output you create using our Service.

Since all processing occurs on your device and we never receive your audio files, we have no liability regarding their legality, accuracy, or ownership. You are entirely responsible for the audio you choose to process.

6. Copyright & Music Rights — Critical Disclaimer

RemoveVocals is a tool, not a content platform. We do not host, store, distribute, or transmit any audio files or copyrighted content.

You are solely and entirely responsible for ensuring that any audio you process through RemoveVocals is content you own, have a license to use, or are otherwise legally permitted to process. This includes:

• Ensuring you own the original audio or have permission from the copyright holder
• Verifying you have rights to create derivative works (like instrumental or acapella versions)
• Confirming any intended use (personal, educational, commercial, etc.) is permitted under the original copyright
• Understanding that fair use rights vary by jurisdiction and context
• Obtaining appropriate licenses if the audio is subject to copyright protections or DRM

RemoveVocals provides technology for audio manipulation. Like photo editors, video editors, or audio workstations, we are neutral tools. The responsibility for legal use lies entirely with you, the user. We cannot and do not monitor, filter, or judge the audio you process because all processing happens on your device and we never receive your files.

7. No Warranty

RemoveVocals is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's functionality, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Audio processing results will meet your expectations
• The Service will be compatible with all devices, browsers, or audio formats
• All features will be available at all times

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOTHING SAS and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of or inability to use RemoveVocals.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Loss of audio files or data corruption
• Damages from copyright infringement by users
• Misuse of the Service or processed audio
• Browser compatibility issues
• Third-party service interruptions (including browser crashes or device failures)
• Any harm from your use of RemoveVocals

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use RemoveVocals for:

• Processing audio containing illegal content
• Circumventing copyright protections, DRM, or other security measures
• Creating unauthorized derivative works for commercial distribution
• Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
• Processing malicious content or attempting system attacks
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• Harassing, abusing, or defaming others
• Any purpose that violates these Terms of Service

10. Account & Optional Authentication

RemoveVocals can be used entirely without creating an account. If you choose to create an account through Supabase authentication, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials.

We reserve the right to terminate your account if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service or used the Service for prohibited purposes. Account termination may result in loss of any saved preferences or settings associated with that account.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of RemoveVocals following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically for changes.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Paris, France, and you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
